PeaK Traffic Technology Ltd. was incorporated in 2004 to service the traffic data collection needs of the southern interior of British Columbia. Since that time we have expanded to accept assignments on the coast, in the north and in Alberta.
PeaK Traffic Technology Ltd. has been included on the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure List of Qualified Suppliers for data collection since the inception of the list in 2009.
The most common requests are for Intersection Movement counts and Volume, Speed and Classification Short Counts using loops or hoses.
We are also available to collect Laser Spot Speed Surveys, HOV Occupancy, Queuing, Curve Testing, Screen Lines, Speed Profiles, as well as unique counts requiring specialized reports including Pedestrian / Cyclist Counts.
We would be interested in discussing Weigh-In-Motion, Origin – Destination Surveys, Automatic License Plate Recognition and various other traffic data collection.
In addition to data collection we have been called on to take the lead in developing a Digital Map Search function for Highway Engineering drawings, reports and miscellaneous electronic files as well as other file management tasks.
Each year we build our equipment inventory in response to client requests.
“Peak Traffic has always provided our department excellent technical services in a timely, cost efficient manner that was tailored to our specific needs. Their personnel have been very accommodating, flexible, and were able to provide detailed and meticulous work input into the projects that they work on.”
